The Multirack Screen is an automatic front-cleaning mechanical bar screen designed for medium to coarse solid separation in wastewater treatment plants.
It works efficiently in the headworks of municipal and industrial STPs or ETPs, where bulkier solids need to be captured and removed early.
For fine screening requirements, it is commonly used ahead of a Step Type Fine Screen or a Screw Screen, ensuring better overall filtration and equipment protection downstream.

Working Principle
The screen consists of multiple vertical rake arms mounted on a chain system that moves continuously. As solids accumulate, the rakes collect and lift them upward, discharging them via a scraper mechanism.
